This CAICB refund policy explains when you can cancel and what you get back. We want every purchase from CAICB to be clear and fair.
Membership
- 14-day full refund. You can cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
- After 14 days, your membership stays active until the end of the paid year. We do not give partial refunds.
- Renewal. Memberships renew yearly. We email you at least 30 days before renewal, and you can cancel at any time before the renewal date.
Founding Supporter Contributions
- You can cancel for a full refund within 14 days, or before your recognition is published on caicb.org, whichever comes first.
- After that, contributions are non-refundable, because the recognition has already been delivered.
Courses (when available)
- You get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have completed less than 25% of the course.
- Certificates already issued are withdrawn when a refund is given.
AI Compliance Readiness Reviews (when available)
- Before the scoping call: full refund.
- After the scoping call, before the document review starts: 50% refund.
- After the document review starts: no refund, because the work is underway. If we cannot deliver the review as agreed, we refund the fee in full.
How to Cancel or Request a Refund
Email inquiries@caicb.org with your name, organization and what you purchased. We reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
Our Own Cancellations
If CAICB cancels a course, program or review, you receive a full refund.
