Trustworthy AI, held to a Canadian standard.

CAICB is an independent Canadian not-for-profit setting a clear, rigorous bar for how organizations build and use artificial intelligence, and preparing them to meet it.

Artificial intelligence is now part of how Canadian organizations hire, lend, diagnose and decide. The rules governing it are tightening at home and abroad. CAICB exists so that Canadian organizations meet that moment with evidence rather than assurances.

We are building AI certification in Canada on three foundations:

  • Readiness. A structured review of how your organization uses AI, measured against Canadian privacy law and the international ISO/IEC 42001 standard, with a written report of where you stand.
  • Education. Practical training in AI governance, risk and ethics for leaders, professionals and teams.
  • Certification. The Security & Ethics Enhanced Certification, now in development, for AI providers that intend to demonstrate, not merely claim, responsible practice.

Founded in Alberta. Built for the organizations that intend to lead.
